Nakagami-M Fading Channel

Nakagami-M Fading Channel

A Simulation Model for Nakagami- Fading Channels, This paper proposes a mathematical model for simulating a Nakagami-m fading channel,m < 1. It is shown that them fading process can be expressed as a product of a square-root-beta process and a complex Gaussian process.Nakagami-m distribution is a generalized way to model small scale fading. In general, we try to approximate the amplitude/power of a received signal using a suitable distribution. The Nakagami-m fading channel is the most generalized distribution as it can generate one-sided Gaussian distribution, Rayleigh distribution and Rician distribution for m equals to 0.5, 1 and >1 respectively. In this work we have proposed a method to …

Nakagami-m fading channels are generally used to model multiple paths fading. $m$ refers to the fading order.

Welcome to Stack Overflow! You might want to edit your question to contain more details, such as what a Nakagami-m fading channel is. I for one have no idea, and going on a treasure hunt around the web for it is not my cup of tea. Please help us help you by elaborating a bit on what a Rayleigh channel is, what BER stands for, and what formula should be used for Nakagami-m fading .
